Our signs are made out of 12 ga mild steel!

Our metal signs are made out of 12 ga mild steel, for Canadians that is about 1.5 times as thick as a LOONIE! For those who don’t live in Canada think 3mm or 1/8 inch. Most internet stores make their signs from 14 gauge which is only 2mm thick. It doesn’t sound like much but trust me, we changed to 12 ga and it has made our signs much more sturdy!

We get all our metal signs are powder coated. It is called powder coating because a thin layer of powdered plastic is sprayed onto the sign and then melted until it completely wraps the sign in a layer of plastic permanently sealing out the elements!

Any metal if left unprotected and uncared for will rust. However we do powder coat all our signs – we chose this over paint as it is the best option for our application. So we are confident your sign will hang without defects for years to come. In the near future we hope to change our material to Aluminum which will then eliminate this concern entirely!

Yes, Winnipeg is known as a freight hub so we can definitely ship outside the country! We extend free shipping to our American customers as well as our Canadian ones.
